Slakes Farm is situated in the beautiful Eden Valley 2 miles from Milburn , it is a small sheep and beef farm of around 40 acres. The farmhouse dates from 1743.
Milburn nestles at the foot of the Pennines with CrossFell in the background an area famous for the Helmwind. Lake Ullswater is 15 miles away and views of the Lake District Fells can be seen from the farm.
The village still has its church, primary school, and WI.

We have some beautiful British Lop Pigs, which we will use for breeding her at the farm. A traditional British Pig breed we are pleased to keep tradition alive.The breed is well know for the long floppy ears, and the black and white colouring - we will let you know how they grow - they are about 13 weeks old at the moment and look as if they have not got a care in the world!
